Unterwegs beim Wandern ist es eigentlich unmöglich, eine kleine Sitzgelegenheit mitzunehmen. Das Problem kann mit dem hier zu bewertenden Klappstuhl gelöst werden. Dieser ist in einer Tragetasche verpackt und im Handumdrehen entfaltet und aufgebaut.

Überrascht war ich von der robusten und stabilen Bauweise. Nach einem ersten zaghaften Sitzversuch fühlte sich die Frau des Hauses gut aufgehoben. Der Stuhl steht fest und nix wackelt. Laut Hersteller kann er bis 270 kg belastet werden. Die hohe Lehne mit einem kleinen Kopfkissen läßt somit auch große Menschen bequem sitzen.

Zwei, an der Seite angenähte, Taschen sorgen für Ordnung. Im Stuhl sitzt man durchaus bequem. Ob man das nach ein paar Stunden immer noch sagt, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Anzumerken ist, dass die Sitzfläche keine Polsterung hat und die Sitzkante evtl. etwas einschneiden könnte .

Kleiner Kritikpunkt für mich: die Füße des Stuhls sind recht schmal, so dass man bei weicherem Untergrund wahrscheinlich leicht einsinken wird. Das ist bei anderen (normalen) Campingstühlen durch breitere Fußkappen gelöst.

Alles in allem eine gute Idee, durch das Eigengewicht von ca. 3 kg leicht zu transportieren und somit auch nicht nur beim Camping gut geeignet. Recht hoch empfinde ich den Preis von knapp 200 Euro. Deshalb und wegen der schmalen Füße ziehe ich einen Stern ab, kann einen Kauf jedoch durchaus empfehlen.

Geliefert wird der Campingstuhl in einer Tragetasche, die schon mal nicht nach 08/15 aussieht. Schön gepolstert und vom Material würde ich Kunstleder sagen, erinnert mich an eine alter Lederjacke, die ich mal hatte.

Der Aufbau war mir nicht gleich ganz klar, aber eine kleine auseichend bebilderte Anleitung liegt bei. Zuerst muss man es nur aufklappen und die Rohre für die Rückenlehen herausziehen, die in Rastnasen verharren. Dabei wird auch die wertig Qualität spürbar. Die Holme sind schön glatt und ohne Kanten. Auch das Kreuz unten, die Füße, einfach Qualität, die man auch nicht häufig sieht. Sollte man aber wohl auch bei solch einen Preis in Höhe von aktuell knapp 200€ erwarten dürfen.

Die Stabilität, bzw. Tragfähigkeit wirkt anhand der Materialien und Verarbeitung glaubhaft. Drauf sitzen ist im Prinzip schon sehr bequem und positiv fällt dabei direkt das gut gepolsterte Kopfpolster auf. Hat insgesamt schon was von Highclass. Jedoch siehts bei mir nicht so aus, wie auf dem Produktbilder mit dem Angler. Ist sitze quasi wie in einer Mulde und meine Arme recht und links, werden an meinen Körper mehr oder weniger störend gepresst. Das hätte ich si nicht erwartet und finde ich auf Dauer nicht prickelnd.

It is not so lightweight but neither is heavy and once the chair is folded it is really compact so much that it was hard to believe that a full size camping chair who feed into that small carrying bag which is by the way extremely well made

It can also hold a lot of weight and it's comfortable to sit on.
My husband who is 185 cm tall and 85 kg, sat on the chair without problems and said it was super comfortable

As you see on the pictures from the manufacturer it has no armrests

The built-in cushion that works as a headrest is soft but firm and the body is mesh and synthetic fabric an although the material is thin, it seems absolutely well made

Since the gravity center and main mechanism is right in the middle and the legs are quite short in comparison to the whole chair, when trying to stand up, the chair tilts forward slightly so one must be watchful of this
I find it, above all, portable and easy to set up and the construction seems extremely high quality and the word robust, is properly used here
Ultimately one has to decide for themselves if they think that the high quality justifies the price

I travel frequently in my camper van where space is a premium. This chair folds down small enough to easily stuff into one of my Van cabinets, but also is very large when opened up. It’s actually a full-size camping chair that is much larger than other types of folding chairs I’ve used in the past.

I would recommend it for a car type camping, versus hike and camping because it is quite heavy. But it works great to leave in your vehicle so you always have a chair handy for when you need it.
